What moves your soul? Why do you dance? Who or what is your muse or inspiration? What do you want to tell the world? What do you have to offer up? And who are you and what do you want to express? These are the myriad of questions we can ask ourselves in order to dance with more intention and as artists, give of ourselves to the dance, to ourselves, and to the audience. Gain knowledge and tools that help spark your creative side and work through internal exercises that can help elevate your dance practice, technique, and performance. We will touch upon quite a few internal subjects including awareness and intention and will culminate the intensive with learning a short choreography section in which the dancer will have the opportunity to infuse the ideas discovered in the workshop. From philosophy, to technique, to inward reflection and outward expression, and movement and choreography, this workshop has it all!
